Aly performing at the NZ Country Music Awards June 3rd 2005 -

In 2005 Aly was nominated for APRA New Zealand Country Song of the Year ..

She got the opportunity to perform I Wonder at the Country Music Award Ceremony to present the Tui ( NZ Country Music Album for the Year) and the APRA Award.,

A songwriting award both awards that year were won by Nashville based New Zealander Kylie Harris.
Although Aly didnt win, she was well received by the audience.

The awards are held as part of the golden guitar week in Gore in NZ.

Aly returned again to GORE, this time as a finalist in MLT Songwriting awards.
